Golden Buff Cross

 These QUIET, soft buff colored hens are selected and bred for BROWN EGG production, and they do their job extremely well!  Pullets mature at about 4 pounds while the males with their white feathers overlaid with buff in wings and tail grow to a larger weight to make tasty fryers for the family!

Eagle Nest White Leghorn

 Are you looking for LARGE WHITE eggs and lots of them?  This is your bird!  Great livability, strong shells, and a good rate of lay round out our strain of white leghorns. If your concerns include PROFIT, these bessies are your hens of choice!

Black Sex Link

 A very competitive BROWN EGG layer, these hens mature at about 4 ½ pounds.  Mild mannered, they are a deep black hen with a reddish cast over the face and into the breast feathers.  The large males are similar to the Barred Rock in their color pattern.

White Plymouth Rock

Light Brahma

 A very GENTLE bird, these gals will serve you well with BROWN eggs of immense size.  The young males are large and framey offering you some tasty roasters for Sunday dinner. The plumage is basically a white body with black in the hackles, wings, tail, and even the feathers on their FEET!

Buff Orpington

 These are the golden blonde beauties of the flock!  Don’t let their good looks fool you, they are good BROWN egg layers and tend to live well!  The males make desirable fryers as well.

Americauna

 The “EASTER EGG CHICKEN”, these medium sized pullets are known for the rainbow of colored eggs they lay.  Egg colors include blue, green, and pink!  The hens come in a variety of color combinations and have beautiful color patterns accented with ear muffs and beards!  These unique birds are very popular with many of our customers and they find the variety of egg colors are easy to sell!

Silver Laced Wyandotte

 Large bodied hens known for their quiet temperament and dazzling plumage, the hens have black lacing on each feather. They also produce large brown eggs for the farmers market! The roosters have the size to make nice fryers as well.

Black Australorp

 Good brown egg layers, these framey black hens bring style to your hen house. The eggs are an even color and move into the large sizes quickly.  The males are long bodied, very attractive, but not overly aggressive.

Welsummer

 A good addition to the “Farmline” of quality birds. These hens have a dark brown color pattern with hues of pumpkin mixed in the hackles. A little smaller in body weight as compared to our other brown egg producers, mature hens weigh about 5 pounds each. The unique feature of this breed is the deep brown, CHOCOLATE colored egg shells. This rich appearance make these eggs very desirable in the market!

bantam is bred and selected for EXHIBITION. These breeds lay as well

as any bantam, but their claim to fame is in the SHOW RING!! We sell

our bantams only as straight run. These chicks are very delicate. We offer

    *Red Dorkings

    One of the most ancient of our domesticated breeds, brought to

    Great Britain by Julius Caesar. This breed is square bodied, with

    unique short shanks and five toes. The males are bright red with a

    black cape, while the tail is black with a green sheen. Females

    have a salmon colored breast that fades into an ash brown body.

    Good layers that are built to tolerant cold winters. Mature males

    weigh 9 pounds and hens weigh 7 pounds. This breed adds to our

    Exhibition Line.

    *Black Jersey Giants

    Truly the Giants of the poultry world, this breed was admitted into

    the Standard of Perfection in the 1880’s. Males mature at 13

    pounds, females at 10 pounds. These are majestic Black birds

    highlighted with green sheen. They were developed as a general

    purpose breed producing large roasters for meat and deep brown

    eggs. You will find these birds an amazing addition to your flock!

    *Dark Brown Leghorn

    White eggs from a brown bird? You bet! These are STUNNING

    birds, the hens have a deep brown body color throughout while the

    male’s accent that deep brown with shining black plumage in the

    tail and wings accented with a rich pumpkin color in the hackles!

    These EXHIBITION quality leghorns catch the eye of the judge in

    the ring and the producer in the hen house!

    *Speckled Sussex

    This is a very old English breed which originated in the county of

    Sussex, England. This white skinned bird is dual purpose for both

    meat and brown egg production. The birds are a beautiful

    mahogany bay with white spangling throughout. This quiet breed

    is a great addition to any flock!
